Jyoti was a daily Indian soap opera that aired on imagine tv. Sneha Wagh played the lead role of Jyoti in the serial Jyoti. Jyoti is Intelligent, attractive yet sober girl. Jyoti comes from a middle class family and is working in an orphanage (Sishu Mangal), to help her family financially. She has been working since the age of 16, which is when her father fell ill and never regained full health. Being the eldest of the siblings, all the responsibilities came on her and she took them on without being complacent about it. Jyoti loved dancing, and dance to wild abandon. She was the lead dancer of a famous fusion dance group "Bhaghya Asthana's" group. She would wait every evening to finish work at the orphanage and rush to her rehearsals.
