Jay Bhanushali was born on December 25, 1984 in India. He did his schooling from BPM High School, Khar. It was his own sister Hetal Bhanushali who told him to try his luck in modeling. However he decided to try his luck. Initially he failed to make a mark and did not manage to bag commercials. But gradually things started out rolling for the actor. He featured in commercials like Motorola, Pepsi, Lays and Rediffmail.com. Jay started as a model and then acted in Disney TV's, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. He later landed the lead role by soap opera queen Ekta Kapoor in her show Kayamath. And as anchor he has hosted in Dance India Dance and also known for his dancing skills post Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 and currently he is finalised for the Nach Baliye 5 alongwith her wife Mahii Vij, known as Nakusha of Laagi Tujhse Lagan fame of Colors TV.
