Pooja Gor was born in Gujarat in the city of Ahmedabad on 1 June 1991.Pooja studied in A.G.School, Ahmedabad. Pooja,indian television actress,firstly she has appeared in Balaji Telefilms serial Kitani Mohabbat Hai as Purvi, the sister of the show's main character, before appearing as Pratigya in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and than she appears in many serials and currently she appears in the new show on channel V The Serial.

Pratigya or Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya was an Indian soap opera which aired on channel STAR Plus. The show premiered on December 7, 2009 and ended on 27th October 2012.Pooja Gor played the lead role o Pratigya in the serial.
It is a story of a woman who will go to any length fight for her right. The story is going around two families named Thakur & Saxena family. Krishna belongs to Thakur family, who is known for their power in Allahabad, They believe in superstitions.The Saxena family, however, is different. Though they are traditional, they believe in educating their daughters Pratigya & Arushi (Avantika Hundal) without any hesitation. Pratigya grown up in it.Circumstances made Krishna & Pratigya fall in love although they seem totally incompatible. Krishna was Pratigya's secret admirer and he forcefully made Pratigya marry him.In order to protect Pratigya, her brother Adarsh got married with Komal,sister of Krishna.Pratigya did not like her marriage with him until later she falls in love with him.
