Sanjeeda Sheikh was born on 20 December 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait and she is an Indian television and Bollywood actress best known as the winner of Nach Baliye 3 and for her award winning portrayal of Ayesha, a negative character, in Kayamath. She spent her childhood and schooling days in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). Sanjeeda never aspired to be an actor, she came to Mumbai from Ahmedabad to help a friend open a dance school, after a few days in the city, she decided to stay and conduct dance classes in the school. She used to teach fusion dance. She acted in three south Indian films in a span of one and half year; co-incidence brought her to the world of Indian Television, Ekta Kapoor spotted her in a party and immediately approached her to act in her television show.
